Article 1 – Preamble
Debtouch, a single-member limited liability company (EURL) incorporated with the Paris Trade and Companies Registry under number 984 152 363 R.C.S. Paris, with its registered office at 7 rue de Toul — 75012 Paris, France (hereinafter "Debtouch" or "Join Me Now"), has developed a mobile application called Join Me Now enabling the creation and management of short-lived events.
Before accessing the Services, please read these Terms of Use carefully. They constitute the agreement between Join Me Now and the User and govern use of the Application.
Access to the Services is conditional on prior acceptance of these Terms. Acceptance takes place upon creation of the User Account. If you do not accept these Terms, you must not use the Application.
Article 2 – Definitions
- Application: the Join Me Now software, downloadable from the App Store (iOS) and Google Play (Android).
- User Account: the personal account created by the User.
- Terms: these Terms of Use.
- User Content: all data published by the User through the Application (events, messages, photos, etc.).
- Service: all features offered by the Application.
- User: any natural person holding a User Account.
Article 3 – Access conditions
3.1 Minimum age
In accordance with Article 8 of the GDPR and French data protection law, use of the Service is restricted to persons aged 15 or over.
Between the ages of 15 and 16, registration is possible with the joint consent of the minor and their legal representative.
3.2 Registration conditions
Completing the registration form is mandatory to access the Services. The required information is:
- a valid email address;
- a username;
- a password (minimum 8 characters);
- a phone number, used in particular to find contacts.
3.3 Accuracy of information
You warrant that the information provided at registration is accurate, complete and up to date. Any account created with false information may be suspended or deleted.
Article 4 – Acceptable use
By using the Service, you agree to:
- not publish content that is unlawful, discriminatory, hateful, pornographic, defamatory or contrary to human dignity;
- not impersonate any person or entity;
- not harass, threaten or intimidate other users;
- not collect other users' personal data without their consent;
- not use automated tools (bots, scripts, scrapers) to access the Service;
- not attempt to circumvent the security measures of the Application or its servers;
- comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
Any breach of these rules may result in suspension or permanent deletion of the Account, without prejudice to any legal proceedings.
Article 5 – Intellectual property
The Join Me Now trademark and associated logos are the exclusive property of Debtouch (EURL, RCS Paris 984 152 363).
The general structure of the Application, as well as all content it contains (texts, graphics, images, sounds, videos), are the exclusive property of Debtouch or are used with permission.
Any unauthorised reproduction, representation or exploitation is strictly prohibited.
Usage rights granted to the User are limited to private, personal, non-commercial use.
Article 6 – Liability
6.1 User liability
The User is solely responsible for:
- the content they publish through the Application;
- any in-person meetings arranged via the Service. Join Me Now strongly recommends meeting only in public, busy places;
- the confidentiality of their login credentials.
Join Me Now shall not be held liable for any harm resulting from a meeting arranged through the Application.
6.2 Join Me Now liability
Join Me Now endeavours to ensure continuous availability of the Service but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability. The Service may be interrupted for maintenance, updates or in cases of force majeure.
Join Me Now shall not be held liable for User Content published on the Application.
Article 7 – Personal data
The processing of your personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, available in the Application, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and French data protection law.
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, portability and objection by writing to: antoine.debtouch@gmail.com.
Article 8 – Changes and termination
8.1 Changes to the Terms
Join Me Now reserves the right to amend these Terms. Any material change will be notified to you within the Application before taking effect. Continued use of the Service after notification constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
8.2 Termination
You may delete your account at any time from the Application settings. Deletion results in termination of these Terms and deletion of your data as set out in the Privacy Policy.
Join Me Now reserves the right to suspend or terminate an Account in the event of a breach of these Terms, without notice or compensation.
Article 9 – Applicable law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by French law.
Any dispute relating to their interpretation or performance shall be submitted, failing amicable resolution, to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Paris Commercial Court (Tribunal de commerce de Paris).
Article 10 – Miscellaneous
If any provision of these Terms is declared void or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
The fact that Join Me Now does not invoke any provision of these Terms shall not be construed as a waiver of its right to do so at a later date.
